Aunt Lory came to town about a month ago. She brought her grand daughter Hilary with her. It was nice because she is the same age as Miley and Irelyn. They were all able to play together. Lory is an amazing aunt! The girls playing in the tomato plants Ainsley taking a minute to pose while picking tomatoes Hilary fitting right in :) Hilary and Irelyn Wonderful aunt Lory!
We headed to Loma Linda to visit with a couple of the nurses. Cameron got some Rams autographs for one of the nurses, Stephanie. We hadn't had a chance to give them to her yet, and so we scheduled a visit. Of course, we had to bring presents :). We brought a bucket of snacks for all the Nicu staff, and personal gifts for a few of Miley and Irelyn's primary care nurses. The bad thing was that the girls were so attached to me in the hospital, it was really hard to talk to the nurses. They both wanted me to hold them, they were just so shy! But, we visited for awhile and it was really great seeing two of the nurses. They truly make a difference in so many lives every day! Afterwards, we took some pictures out in front of the hospital. The girls were no longer shy :).
The girls always have such a fun time at my sister, Katie's house. They always want to go there. This was a special treat because Katie's friend, Tausha, was down from Northern California. She was visiting with her two daughters Reina and Keira. Everyone had a blast. Cameron sharing chips and guacamole Katie and Tausha Ainsley and Reina playing together Ainsley and her cousins Miley and her guacamole Irelyn in her fairy wings This is what 6 little girls under the age of 5 do to a playroom :) Miley with Easy Lynnie playing (she loved those wings!)
A beautiful day at Newport Beach! We played, had ice cream, and walked down the pier. Man, I love my family!!! Daddy and his girls Mommy's attempt to take a pic of herself and Miley (fail) Daddy and Miley Fun in the sand Daddy and Lynnie looking out at the pier Everyone should have ice cream on their head! Delicious ice cream!
One of the projects I decided that we should do while I was off track was planting flowers. So, I was an old wheel barrow for sale at a garage sale. I figured it would be perfect to plant flowers in! We bought some soil and flowers and it was quite fun! The girls water their flowers every day, but they also like to use spoons to scoop out the soil and dump in different parts of the backyard. For the most part, most of the flowers are still alive, but it was such a learning experience!!!
A busy summer day spent with Jacy on the beach. Jacy did a great job getting buckets of water from the ocean, since Miley and Irelyn wouldn't go in :). The girls just adore her.
