Happy Birthday!

Warning...long post ahead!
Friday was Miley and Irelyn's first birthday. I cannot believe that one year ago they came into this world at only 3lb4oz (Irelyn) and 3lb5oz (Miley). They have come a long way!
Anyway, I ordered special cupcakes for their birthday from Vons. The girls went with me to pick them up after work Friday only to find that Vons had lost my order. So, we got these yellow cupcakes to help celebrate their special day.
At first Miley was unsure about what to do. (Fortunately, she figured it out!) Both destroying their cupcakes. Irelyn did try her cupcake, only to throw it up a few minutes later (texture issues...)

Then they tried out their birthday gifts. And let me say...you cannot tell from the pictures...but they LOVE them!

Saturday was the girls birthday party. It was a lot of fun. The girls loved all the attention! We were very lucky to have one of our nurses from the hospital come to their birthday. She has a special place in our heart (Thanks Stephanie!). The girls were exhausted, but got so many wonderful gifts.

Playing turned into destroying...and notice the fairly clean face. She didn't really taste it. She must have decided not to after the cupcake from yesterday.

Today is mine and Cameron's six year anniversary. We didn't do too much exciting. We took the girls to Gymboree and then went to Rocky's for pizza. Later we took the girls for walks in their new "cars." Fun with family!
