Weekend Fun!

We had a busy weekend...well, especially on Saturday. We had Gymboree, went to lunch, and went to a first birthday party. The party was from 5pm-8pm. Fortunately, it was only a couple doors down from our house. Yes, the girls still go to bed super early. So, they started to break down at about 7:00, so we had to head home. But, they had a blast. They had an awesome backyard to play in!





I included a couple other pics. The girls enjoying cooking with me. They hate taking turns but we have been making recipes that they can help me with. We make really simple recipes, like we made Bisquick muffins the other day. Tonight we made an oreo pie. They got to add the milk, stir the recipe, dump it into a pie crust, and add oreos to the top. Well, of course, I had to let them try their work! I was surprised that Irelyn liked it so much! I gave them a spoon and a bit on a plate. Here is what Irelyn did with the spoon :). I got a cornbread mix to make next.

And finally...I know I don't blog about them much, but we do have 3 dogs- Lucy, Angel, and Shadow. Three indoor dogs :). Lucy and Angel were being so adorable last night I had to take a picture! Yes, Angel is laying completely on top of Lucy, and Lucy didn't mind a bit!
