Books and Missing Food....

We read to the girls every night. Even when the girls were in the Nicu, I used to read to them through their isolette doors. I know how important it is to read and I want my girls to be good readers, BUT also love to read.

Reading has taken on a new meaning lately. The girls are really interested in books. They look closely at each page while we are reading and especially love books with pop-ups and mirrors. After we are done reading for the evening the girls are allowed to hold the books. Often this involves them eating the book. They get so mad when they can't hold the book after it is read! Here is Miley holding a book on puppies after it was read.

Reading a few months ago....

Back in the day daddy used to hold us in the rocking chair together when we read a book. Don't we look so little?
