Horses

First, a quick life update.....
Our water heater stopped working Sunday night. As you read, we all took baths with boiled water. Now, that was a pain. My brother couldn't figure out what was wrong and it was getting late. So, I picked him up the next day after I got off work. We got a new part from Lowes, only to find out that it didn't fix it either. At about 6:00pm David thought he new what was wrong. But, that meant another trip to Lowes. This was the girls bedtime, so we made a super quick trip. You don't want to mess with hungry girls. They are on a tight schedule and we try not to change it. Anyway, got home, fed the girls and David continued to work. In the meantime, our dog Angel got out and ran away. I was absolutely hysterical. Fortunately we found her about 30min later. What a relief! David worked for a little bit more, and finally got the water heater working. :) I never realized the importance of a water heater until now!
Horses-
My parents got the girls a super big horse stuffed animal. They have been able to lay next to it, but really haven't played with it. Today, I decided it was time to ride it. Irelyn LOVED it. She tried to pet it and bounce on it. It was so much fun. Miley was already angry and didn't really enjoy it...as you can see from the picture. I think she was overly tired. We will try again tomorrow.
In crawling news....
Miley still doesn't enjoy tummy time that much. But, she has found that if she gets on her hands and knees, she can pull herself up to a sitting position. Now, if she can do that, don't you think that she should be able to crawl? :) I know she will be crawling any day.

Hey Kelly - that horse looks like such a fun toy. Well, if you're not overly tired, I guess. Poor kiddo. :)Did your girls get onto a good schedule since the time they were in the NICU, or did they just get on one over time? I have a good friend whose boy was in the NICU, and he's been really scheduled ever since. I just ask because I cannot get Kaylee to get on a schedule for the LIFE of me. Any tips?

Glad your hot water heater is fixed! It's so true that we really take these 'conveniences' for granted until they stop working. We've had that with a few things around the house lately. I'm just glad you were able to repair it and not have to replace it! Nice to be related to handy people, huh? :)
