One Year Ago Nicu Homecoming- Part 1

If you are tired of my reminiscing, sorry :).
One year ago today Irelyn was released from the Nicu. It was a wonderful day...but also very hard for Cameron and I. We were so thankful to have one of our girls home after 6 weeks in the hospital, but it was so hard to leave Miley behind. I was used to spending 12 hours a day at the hospital, and now I would have split my time with Irelyn at home and having family watch her so I could be with Miley in the hospital. Fortunately, Miley would be home 10 days later.
Irelyn came home at about 5 and a half pounds. I was so scared when they took her off the monitors. I had become so reliant on them to know that she was breathing. The drive home (Cameron and I had to drive different cars) was so scary because I was so worried that something would happen.
She has only amazed us since!!
Irelyn in her coming home outfit. It was so hard to find cute preemie clothes. In her carseat and ready to go home.

Relaxing at home.

Oh my. It is so hard to remember how little they were after just seeing them today! Such small things have grown into happy healthy girls!

Oh my goodness, look how itty bitty she was! That seems like just yesterday!
